This isn't just another home renovation show. It's a celebration of island living, culture, and craftsmanship. Every episode follows married home renovators Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama as they transform the most dilapidated properties on the island of Oahu into beautiful family homes.

Meet the Stars: Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama

Renovating in paradise comes with challenges you won't see anywhere else. Hawaii is one of the most expensive states in the country. The Kalamas often face unexpected costs, strict deadlines, and unpredictable weather.

But they have an advantage most renovators can only dream of: a massive extended family (87 first cousins), many of whom are in the construction industry and ready to lend a hand. Together, Tristyn and Kamohai breathe new life into forgotten homes, tackling everything from failing foundations to full-scale kitchen rebuilds.

Hauslane's Role in the Transformation

This season, Hauslane was honoured to join the Renovation Aloha team by providing our range hoods for select projects. Why range hoods? Cooking in an island climate means heat, humidity, and plenty of aromatic dishes (hello, garlic shrimp and fresh fish!).
