How to Set the Automatic Delayed Shut Off Timer on a Hauslane Range Hood
The auto-delay shut off function is offered in select models within three of our range hood categories: under cabinet, wall mount, and island. Range hoods with a "+" and "-" button on the control panel will allow you to select the time delay that you prefer from a certain time range and others without the increase/decrease buttons do not offer this customization. The process of activating the delay timer also differs slightly by model.

UC-PS18
Max Delay Time: 15 Minutes
- First, turn on the power to the range hood.
- Then, turn on the fan. Keep in mind that the delay function only works when the fan is running.
- Once the fan is running, press the illuminated clock button on the control panel.
- Use the up and down arrows to set the amount of time that you want the fan to run before shutting off.
- Once you have selected the desired time, press the power button to turn off the delay function.
UC-PS10
Max Delay Time: 30 Minutes
- While the range hood is running, press the timer delay button.
- It starts with 2 minutes, and with every touch, it will increase by 1 minute.
- When you release the button, it will flash 3 times and the timer will be set.

- Turn on the range hood using the Power ON button.
- Touch the button that looks like a clock with arms pointing to 4:00 pm and dashed lines on the right side to active the feature.

WM-639 Max Delay Time: 60 Seconds
WM-739 Max Delay Time: 9 Minutes
- Turn on the range hood and access the control panel on the front of your range hood.
- Touch the button that looks like a clock with dashed lines on the right side to active the feature.
- (WM-739 Only) To set the duration, touch and hold the button for 3 seconds until the power button blinks.
- (WM-739 Only) You can set the desired time duration (1-9 minutes) by pressing “+” or “-”.
- (WM-739 Only) Once you’ve selected the desired time, touch the clock button again to start.
WM-540 and WM-730
Max Delay Time: 5 Minutes
- To activate the delay function press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
- The power button will blink for the 5 minute preset time.
WM-538
Max Delay Time: 15 Minutes
- When the fan is working, press On/Off button (4) for 3 seconds.
- The timer delay indicator in the display begins to flash.
- Press the plus and minus buttons (2) and (3) to set the delay time range from 1 to 15 minutes.
- The timer will automatically retain the time setting after 3 seconds of inactivity.

Max Delay Time: 5 Minutes
- When the motor is ON, press the clock button to set the 5-minute auto-delay shut off.
- Press the power button to turn the hood off completely.
IS-500
Max Delay Time: 9 Minutes
- Press the Timer button to turn on the delay-off timer.
- Use the " " and " " buttons to choose the desired function duration.
- When the auto-delay function is activated, the digital screen will show the delay-off timer countdown clock.
- When the function is not turned on, the screen will display normally.
IS-700
Max Delay Time: 30 Minutes
- To activate the delay auto shut-off, hold the POWER button while the motor is ON for 3 seconds.
- The power button will begin to blink.
- Use"+"or "-"to set the time duration.
- Finally, touch the power button to set the function.
