Important Staining Information: Hoodsly is not responsible for improper staining or painting techniques used to finish a raw hood. We strongly suggest spraying a professional-grade, pre-catalyzed lacquer, from brands such as Gemini, Mohawk, ML Campbell, and Acroma Pro. Wiping stains, such as Minwax, are not recommended. Wiping stains can cause inconsistent staining during the application of the stain. Wood filler, pin nails, and wood glue are commonly used in our build methods and are not considered defects.

Our timeless range hoods will ship with a Tradewinds Ventilation unit pre-installed for simplicity of installation. If you are intending to use different ventilation, we suggest verifying your model number with our team prior to purchase. The mounting of the ventilation will be different with this model than our standard two-piece construction.

IMPORTANT WOODWORKING INFORMATION: You should choose a licensed electrician, and/or HVAC Contractor, and a cabinet installation professional to assist with the install. Above all, ensure you are meeting all building codes in your area. While this installation is not difficult, you must have electrical, ventilation, and finish carpentry skills. You may need to cut, sand, chisel, remove “ribs”, install supports and other basic woodworking functions to complete the install.
